II. Product Description

The PET strapping produced by the PET strapping production line, also called plastic-steel strapping, which is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging material worldwide used to replace steel strapping. With the successful development of new materials and the significant reduction in costs in recent years, it has been widely applied in the steel industry, chemical fiber industry, aluminum ingot industry, paper industry, brick kiln industry, screw industry, tobacco industry, electronics industry, textile industry, wood industry, etc. It is a new type of high-strength strapping that replaces steel strapping and is currently the most widely used steel strapping substitute globally.

III. Equipment Features

The production line is compatible with both PET and PP materials, enabling production setup completion within minutes; it can produce 4, 6, or 8 strips in one batch.

1. Raw Material Processing and Extrusion System

• Efficient pre-crystallization and drying system;

• The equipment can use 100% recycled bottle flakes to produce high-value-added strapping;

• Specially designed PET-specific screws, with options of single-screw or twin-screw extruders.

2. Continuous Backflushing Filter Screen Changer (European Technology)

• 100% fully automatic filter screen flushing with dual columns and 4 filter cavities;

• PLC-controlled, screen changing without stopping the machine, no impact on product quality.

3. Preheating and Stretching System

• Equipped with heating units, automatic temperature control system, and high-performance  insulation layer;

• Adopts internal circulating hot air heating and low-temperature high-speed secondary longitudinal stretching process, ensuring stable stretching points;

• The product can be used in a thermal environment of 120℃, with a tensile strength of up to 500MPa.

4. Embossing Machine

• Servo motor control, enable customize embossing roller patterns according to user requirements;

• Equipped with a synchronous control embossing system for precise adjustment of the vertical position and embossing intensity of the embossing roller;

• Improves the transverse cross-sectional strength of the strapping and reduces the surface friction of the strap.

5. Strapping Heat Setting Device

• Special setting technology to ensure rapid shaping of the strap products and prevent the oriented PET strap from disorienting;

• Eliminates internal stress, ensuring the dimensional accuracy and quality of the strap.

6. Optional Single-station or Dual-station Servo Winder

• PLC operation control, automatically adjusts winding tension, suitable for winding straps of 5--32mm;

• Servo controls the winding arrangement width and distance, greatly reducing the strap curvature and ensuring the strap is suitable for automatic packaging equipment;

• 8 sets of fully automatic servo winders, realizing full automation of the entire process including automatic core loading, winding displacement, rolling-up, automatic cutting, packaging, unwinding, and conveying.
